This was a fun event that brought out several of the 1960 Ford Drag Team. Ed Terry, who campaigned Fords through out the 60's, starting up in the San Francisco area along with another Ford legend Gas Rhonda. Butch Leal, "The California Flash" who drove a Thunderbolt in the mid 60's and later on some Mustangs. Larry Knapp brought out his 1965 A/FX Mustang, powered by an SOHC Cammer that he still campaigns in Nostalgia Drag events. John Calvert brought two of his famous drag cars his 1968 Cobra Jet and his 2008 Cobra Jet, both of these cars are currently campaigned and have achieved numerous major NHRA event titles. Both of these cars have won at the NHRA Winter Nationals held in Pomona each February. Linda Vaughn, of "Miss Hurst" fame was also present in the Drag Team tent. All of these drag racing legends shared their experiences, provided photos and their autographs.
